Sacramento police seek suspect seen exposing himself to women

Sacramento police are asking for the public's help in identifying a man who exposed himself to female walkers and joggers on at least seven occasions.

In each of the incidents, the man approached the victims, who were walking or jogging alone near parks or on city streets, and made small talk before exposing himself or making vulgar comments, according to Sacramento police.

The suspect then ran away or pedaled away on a bicycle. The victims were not injured in any of the incidents, police said.

The man has been described by police as a light-skinned Hispanic or Asian man, 18 to 20 years old. He is 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet tall, weighs 180 to 200 pounds and has short dark hair and thick eyebrows. Twice he was seen carrying a backpack.

The incidents occurred:

• 7 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 23, in the 700 block of Clipper Way

• 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 3, in the 6200 block of Riverside Boulevard

• 6:45 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 27, near Gloria Drive and 43rd Avenue

• 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 20, near Gloria Drive and Interstate 5

• 5:45 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 27, near south Land Park and Windbridge Drive

• 6:42 a.m. Thursday, April 25, near Royal Garden Avenue and Havenside Drive

• 8:45 p.m. Thursday, April 25, in the 7300 block of Gloria Drive

Anyone with information is asked to call police dispatch at (916) 264-5471, the Sexual Assaults Division hotline at (916) 808-0584 or Crime Alert at (916) 443-HELP. Callers can remain anonymous and might be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
