Teen robbed in Woodland on city street

A teenager was robbed at knifepoint in Woodland earlier this week.

The 17 year old was walking in the 700 block of Beamer Street about 10 p.m. Monday when two people approached him from behind. One of the men stepped in front of him, brandishing a pocketknife.

The robber demanded the teen's possession. The teen complied.

Woodland police said the man with the knife was described as Hispanic, in his early 20s, wearing a black shirt and a black baseball cap with a Chicago White Sox logo. His face was obscured by a bandana.

There was no description of the other man. The teen was not injured.

Anyone with information about the suspects may call police at (530) 661-7800.
