All points search for special bike in Roseville

Roseville police have put out an urgent request to the community to help find a special bike.

The bike was stolen over the weekend from a locked sport utility vehicle on East Colonial Parkway. Taken was a Haro Prosize BMX racing bike with black forks, purple hubs and rainbow spokes.

The bike belongs to a 14-year-old girl who is competing in a BMX national championship this weekend. Police want to find the bike before tonight so that she can take it to the competition.

The girl doesn't need money for a new ride, nor does she need another bike given to her. Somebody has already donated a bike for her to use.

However, the racer would like the stolen bike returned because she is most confident using it in competition. Anyone who has seen the distinctive bike is asked to call (916) 774-5000.
