Update: 11-month-old Antioch girl found safe

An 11-month-old girl abducted from Antioch this morning has been found safe, according to authorities.

However, the man accused of abducting Justice Alasheia Benton has not been located, according to the Amber Alert deactivation.

The suspect was identified in the alert as 23-year-old Joshua Elijah Benton, described as a 5-foot-8-inch, light-skinned black man weighing 144 pounds. He has brown eyes and "twisty" hair, according to the alert. He was last seen wearing white shorts, a blue t-shirt, flip flops and a brown hat.

Benton was described as being possibly armed and dangerous. Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to call Antioch police at (925) 778-2441.
