Identity of El Dorado Hills bike shop burglary suspect sought

Bike Shop Burglary Photo 1.jpgBike Shop Burglary Photo 2.jpgThe El Dorado County Sheriff's Department seeks the public's help in identifying a suspect in the May 20 burglary of an El Dorado Hills bicycle shop.

A man, whose image was captured in surveillance photos (above), allegedly broke into Town Center Bike and Tri in the early morning hours. After browsing around inside the shop, the man took a medium size Trek, Speed Concept 7.5 bicycle with back and white accents and Zipp 808, black carbon fiber, aftermarket wheels, according to a Sheriff's Department news release. The combination is worth approximately $7,000, officials said.

Anyone with information regarding the suspect or the incident is asked to call Detective Troy Morton at (530) 642-4712. Callers can remain anonymous.
