Natomas woman allegedly rips badge from officer's uniform

Rosanna Echeverria, 53 (2).JPG
Sacramento police say a drunken fight between roommates escalated when one of the combatants pulled the badge from an officer's uniform.

Officers were called to the beef between roommates in the 1700 block of River City Way in Natomas around 8 p.m. Tuesday. When police arrived, they said one of the allegedly drunken roommates pushed and pulled at an officer, ripping off his badge - a sure way to go to jail.

That's exactly what happened to Rosanna E. Echeverria, 53, (pictured) who was arrested and booked into Sacramento County Jail on suspicion of battery against a police officer, according to a police activity log.

She has since been released from custody.
