Sacramento man arrested for allegedly stabbing wife, sister

Khounlat Sihabout, 34.JPGPolice said a jealous spouse stabbed his wife and sister on Sunday at a home in Valley Hi.

Officers arrived at the home on Grits Court at about 10:30 a.m. Sunday and found and armed man and two women suffering from stab wounds.

Police said that Khounlat Sihabout, 34, was immediately taken into custody on suspicion of attempted homicide and domestic violence. Both of the women were taken to the hospital with stab wounds to their upper bodies.

Police said that Sihabout and his wife have been separated and that he became jealous. Police believe that he brought her into a room at the home and began to assault her.

His sister intervened and both women were stabbed.
