Woman booked for stabbing in Woodland

Police arrested a woman for allegedly stabbing a man at motel on Tuesday in Woodland.

Officers were called at 2:40 p.m. Tuesday to a gas station on West Main Street where Dave Lopez, 41, of Woodland, had a wound on his left arm. Also on the scene, was 44-year-old April Wilson.

Officers believe that Wilson stabbed Lopez at the nearby Dunton Motel, 449 West Street. Police said that Wilson allegedly would not let Lopez leave during an argument at the motel and that she stabbed him.

Lopez was taken to a hospital. Wilson was booked on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon and false imprisonment.
