After an investigation, Auburn Detective Dustin McLaughlin, with the assistance of the Modesto Police Department, identified Ryan Howard Barber as the suspect in burglaries that occurred Jan. 8, March 18 and April 4 at Sirius Stamps and Treasures, 816 Lincoln Way.
The intruder took several collectible items during each burglary, according to a Police Department news release.
Officers obtained surveillance video from nearby businesses that showed a dark-colored, full-size king cab truck near the business during each of the burglaries. On April 4, the same vehicle stopped in front of another nearby business, and a man was seen getting out of the truck and walking in the direction of Sirius Stamps and Treasures, police said.
Police seek the public's help in locating Barber (pictured), who is described as 6 feet, 2 inches tall, weighing 320 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes. His last known address is in Manteca.
Anyone with information about the burglaries or Barber's whereabouts is asked to call Detective McLaughlin at (530) 823-4237, ext. 221.
