Arrested and booked into Sacramento County Jail were Colby Dean Osborne (left photo), 28, and Antelia Kathryn Walls (right photo), 34.
Rancho Cordova police were called about 4 a.m. to the Walgreens pharmacy, 4050 Sunrise Blvd., where the cash machine was ripped from inside the store and the front doors were heavily damaged.
While en route to the store, police and Sacramento County Sheriff's deputies received information that a white truck or van was seen leaving the parking lot.
Deputies and officers intercepted a vehicle matching the description about 10 miles away near Sheldon and Grant Line roads. In the back of the truck was the ATM on its side, still wrapped in a big chain.
Osborne, who was driving the truck. was taken into custody. Walls, who was driving a pickup stopped on Elk Grove Boulevard, was also taken into custody as a suspected accomplice. She had burglary tools, according to a police department press release.
Osborne was booked on suspicion of motor vehicle theft, burglary, purchase or receipt of a stolen vehicle and conspiracy, and is being held in lieu of $75,000 bail.
Walls was booked on suspicion of motor vehicle theft, having a concealed firearm in a vehicle, conspiracy, burglary and receiving stolen property. She is being held in lieu of $20,000 bail.
