Davis man accused of videotaping under girls' clothing

Tyler Dean Luke.jpgA 32-year-old Davis man was arrested Sunday after he was accused of videotaping young girls under their clothing as they walked through a local store.

Davis police were called to the Target store at 4601 Second St. about 1:45 p.m. regarding a man who was possibly videotaping young girls. When officers arrived, they attempted to contact the man, who was later identified at Tyler Dean Luke (pictured). When Luke spotted the officers, he tried to run away but was quickly caught, according to a Police Department news release.

Police said Luke resisted officers' efforts to take him into custody and struggled with them, but officers were able to subdue him.

Luke allegedly had been videotaping pre-teen girls under their clothing as they walked through the store. He also is accused of concealing and destroying evidence.

He was booked into Yolo County Jail on suspicion of using video equipment to film under individuals' clothing, tampering with evidence and resisting an officer with violence.

Individuals who think they may have been victimized by Luke are asked to call the Davis Police Department at (530) 747-5400.
