Help sought finding elderly man missing from Foothill Farms

DemyanikThe Sacramento Sheriff's Department is asking for help to find two men who went missing during the last two days.

Bronislav Demanyik, 83, who went missing Sunday morning from his home in the 5400 block of Kohler Avenue in Foothill Farms.

Demanyik was last seen around 8 a.m. on July 14, walking from his home to a nearby church, according to a news release. He did not return home, and he is considered to be at-risk. His absence is described as "inconsistent with his normal behavior patterns."

Demanyik is a 5-foot-6-inch Ukranian man, weighing 180 pounds, with brownish-gray hair and hazel eyes. He was last seen wearing a light-colored shirt and khaki pants.

Police are also looking for John Nevitt, 81, who was last seen on Fair Oaks Boulevard between 8:30 and 9 a.m. today. Nevitt is a white male who weighs about 170 pounds and is six feet tall. He had gray hair, blue eyes and a receding hairline, and was wearing a long-sleeved flannel shirt, blue jeans and brown boots when he went missing. Police believe Nevitt may be at risk due to dementia.

Police are asking anyone who knows Nevitt or Demanyik to call the Sheriff's Department at 916-874-5115.
