Help sought finding woman missing from Pollock Pines home

Elise Hays.jpgThe El Dorado County Sheriff's Office is asking the public's help in finding a 20-year-old woman with a development disorder who has been missing since Saturday.

Elise Hays (pictured), who has the physical stature and mental capacity of a 12-year-old, left her residence about 7 a.m. Saturday, according to a Sheriff's Office news release. Authorities said she may be in the South Lake Tahoe area and has been known to take up with homeless people.

Hays is described a 4 feet 6 inches tall, weighing 80 pounds, with blond hair and blue eyes.

Anyone with information regarding her whereabouts is asked to call Detective Troy Morton at (530) 642-4712.
