Man accused of trying to lure children to home

PAL, VIRENDER -52.jpgA 52-year-old man was arrested by Sacramento police Monday after he was reported acting suspiciously and attempting to contact children in the 300 block of River Bend Circle in the Land Park area.

Suspicious of the man's actions, the children told and adult, who called police about 6 p.m. Virender Pal (pictured) is suspected of attempting to lure the children back to his residence, according to the Police Department's daily activity log.

Officers launched an investigation and located Pal at his residence. He was booked into Sacramento County Jail on suspicion of attempted kidnapping.

Police said no children were injured.
