Man has second thoughts about South Lake Tahoe bank robbery

A clean shaven man in his 70s had second thoughts about robbing a South Lake Tahoe bank on Thursday.

The man entered the El Dorado Savings Bank, 3443 Lake Tahoe Blvd., about 3:30 p.m. and handed the teller a note demanding money. No weapon was seen.

It then appeared that the man changed his mind about bank robbery, according to a police press release. He left the bank, exiting through the front door.

He was last seen riding away from the bank on a girl's bike with a large basket on the front.
