Davis police are looking for two men who robbed the Amtrak station and tied up an employee early this morning.

The men confronted the employee about 4:15 a.m. outside the station. One of the men brandished a handgun and ordered the employee back into the building, according to a Police Department news release. Once inside the station, the employee was forced to remove money from the premises. The robbers tied up the employee before fleeing with an undisclosed amount of money, police said.

One of the men was described as black, approximately 6 feet, 2 inches tall and weighing about 180 pounds.

The other man was described as black, approximately 5 feet, 11 inches tall and weighing about 170 pounds.

Police said both men were wearing dark clothing and ski masks.

Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call the Davis Police Department at (530) 747-5400.
