Two suspects sought in armed robbery of Woodland market

Woodland police are looking for two men following the armed robbery of a local market this afternoon.

Officers responded about 4:45 p.m. to the In and Out Market at 174 College St. When they arrived, they were told that two men, 19 to 25 years old and armed with handguns, had robbed the store of an undetermined amount of money and cigarettes.

The men were last seen running northbound on College Street.

Both men were described as Hispanic and wearing grey and white hoodies. One was described as 5 feet, 10 inches tall, and weighing 230 pounds. The other was described as "skinny", 5 feet, 7 inches tall, with dark spots on his cheeks.

Police said both are considered to be armed and dangerous.

Anyone with additional information is asked to call the Police Department at (530) 666-2411, or (530) 661-7800. Callers can remain anonymous.
