QUESTION: I'm wondering if there is any follow-up information on the outcome of the trial for the case of Travis Marshall Grey, who was charged with receiving child pornography?

ANSWER: Travis Marshall Grey, 29, is in Sacramento County Jail awaiting trial in federal court.
According to U.S. District Court online records, he is scheduled for a status conference Aug. 27.
Grey was arraigned in April on charges of receiving child pornography and failing to register as a sex offender. He entered a not-guilty plea.
Between Jan. 25 and 29, Grey allegedly received images of child pornography through the Internet. In addition, in December 2012 and January 2013, while living in Citrus Heights, he allegedly failed to register as a sex offender.
In April 2011, Grey pleaded guilty to failing to register as a sex offender while living in Woodland. According to a story in The Bee at that time, Grey had been court-martialed in July 2007 after receiving depictions of child pornography and, as part of his sentence, had been ordered to register as a sex offender.
