Parolee accused of possessing lewd photos of teen

Odom, Robby.pngAuburn police have arrested a 52-year-old parolee accused of possessing lewd photos of a teenage girl.

Officers contacted Robby Dean Odom (pictured), who is homeless, in the area of East Placer Street, at High Street, about 7 p.m. Monday. After a brief conversation, they determined that Odom was on active parole.

In searching Odom's personal property, officers discovered lewd photographs of a female who appeared to be younger than 18 years old, according to a police department news release.

Odom was arrested on suspicion of possessing lewd photos of a person younger than 18 and a parole violation.

He was booked into Placer County Jail and is ineligible for bail.
