Folsom man pleads guilty to possessing child pornography

A Folsom man pleaded guilty to possessing child pornography Wednesday, U.S. Attorney Benjamin Wagner said.

Daniel Ratner, 45, planted hidden video cameras in his house, recording minors entering the shower, changing clothes and sitting on the toilet, according to federal prosecutors. Officials found 37 movie files and approximately 100 images of child pornography during a search of Ratner's computers.

Ratner is scheduled to be sentenced Dec. 11 and faces a maximum sentence of 10 years in prison, a $250,000 fine and a life term of supervised release.
