A man found guilty of molesting boys after luring them to his Citrus Heights home with video games has been sentenced to 300 years to life in prison.
Ryan Matthew Haley, 32, was convicted by a jury in July of 20 counts of lewd and lascivious acts against a minor younger than 14. Haley also pleaded no contest to possessing child pornography and was sentenced to an additional consecutive term of two years in prison, according to a Sacramento County District Attorney's Office news release. He was sentenced Friday by Sacramento Superior Court Judge Michael Kenny.
Between 1999 and 2005, Haley molested several neighborhood boys after luring them to his home to play video games. Three of the victims, who were approximately 6 to 8 years old when the molestation began, were continuously victimized over a period of seven years, authorities said.
At the time of his arrest in June 2011, he was living in Rancho Cordova.
