Four arrested at Dunnigan rest stop after methamphetamine found in vehicle

Four people are in jail after Yolo County sheriff's deputies reported finding them in a parked vehicle with an estimated $16,000 worth of methamphetamine.

Deputies found the four about 11: 15 p.m. Sunday in a vehicle parked at the Interstate 5 rest stop in Dunnigan. The deputies detected the odor of marijuana coming from inside and were granted permission to search the vehicle. During the search, they found more than 446 grams of methamphetamine, with an estimated street value of $16,000, and a small amount of marijuana, according to a Sheriff's Office news release.

Jorge Luis Flores, 27, Kyle Justin Farmer, 19, and Marie Felix Gamez, 23, of Corning and Brandon Joseph Farmer, 19, of Clements were booked into Yolo County Jail on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance, transport for sale of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana and conspiracy to commit a crime.

Bail for each was set at $200,000, and all are scheduled to be arraigned Wednesday.
