An elderly man who went missing from Citrus Heights on Sunday has been found, according to the Citrus Heights Police Department.

Stanley "Stan" Morgan, 76, had left on foot to attend Mass Sunday morning, but never arrived at church. He had been seen at around 8:30 a.m. leaving his residence on Geowood Way in Citrus Heights and later, at around 12:30 p.m., pushing his blue Roadmaster mountain bike near the intersection of Greenback Lane and Mariposa Avenue

Morgan was located at around 10:45 p.m. Sunday at a hotel near Madison and I-80, the Citrus Heights Police Department reported early Monday.

A press release said Morgan was found to be in good health.
