The cyclist who was killed early Monday during a traffic accident in south Sacramento has been identified.
The Sacramento County Coroner's Office identified the victim as James Combis, 59, of Sacramento.
Combis was struck by a sport utility vehicle after he apparently swerved in front of the vehicle at 6:25 a.m. on Stockton Boulevard, according to the California Highway Patrol. He was later pronounced dead at a local hospital.
