Dinner to benefit El Dorado County Sheriff's Explorers program

The El Dorado County Sheriff's Explorers will hold a fundraising spaghetti feed Saturday in Cameron Park.

All proceeds will go to Explorer Post No. 457 to fund competitions and the 2014 Explorer Nationals, according to a Sheriff's Office news release.

Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children 12 and younger.

The event also will feature a drawing for prizes, including a Green Mountain Grill. Tickets for the drawing are $20 each and ticket holders need not be present to win.

The dinner will begin at 6 p.m. at Church of the Foothills, 2380 Merrychase Drive, Cameron Park.
