Police need help finding killer of Citrus Heights man

Citrus Heights police are asking for the public's assistance in finding a man who struck and killed Christopher Sorgani.

Sorgani, 49, of Citrus Heights, died from injuries suffered in an attack last week. Police were called to the 7700 block of Greenback Lane at about 6:30 p.m. Wednesday where they found Sorgani on the sidewalk with serious head injuries.

A witness told police they saw Sorgani being struck by another man. The motive for the assault is not known.

Sorgani died from his injuires on Sunday. Anyone who has information about Sorgani's death may call police at (916) 727-5500.
