Sacramento couple going to prison after attempt to force minor into prostitution

A Sacramento couple are facing prison time in the kidnapping, assault and attempted pimping of a 14-year-old girl.

David Mosqueda Savala, 25, was sentenced to 23 years to life and Pebbles Laura Savala, 23, was sentenced to 11 years to life for a June 4, 2012, aggravated kidnapping for the purpose of financial gain and felony assault. A jury has also convicted Omar Mosqueda, 19, of kidnapping and felony assault, according to a Sacramento County District Attorney's Office news release.

According to authorities, the three lured the girl to their home for a party. The trio and other beat the girl and left her to walk home. They later forced her into David Savala's van, drove her to south Sacramento and threatened to make her work as a prostitute. She was released after 26 hours at the house.
