Former Dixon High coach pleads no contest to sex with teen

Troy Anthony Hensley.PNGA former Dixon High School coach has pleaded no-contest to three felony counts involving his unlawful sexual relationship with a minor.

Troy Anthony Hensley (pictured), 38, pleaded to charges including unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor. The charges represent his conduct during the length of the relationship, and conduct that occurred in Yolo and Solano counties, according to a Yolo County District Attorney's office news release. Based on the plea, all other counts against Hensley will be dismissed and he will be placed on a grant of felony probation.

Hensley began the relationship with the victim while she was still in high school, authorities said. She was an employee under Hensley's supervision at Bud's Pub and Grill in Dixon. She was 17 and Hensley was 37 when the relationship began, and it continued until after the victim was 18 years old.

Authorities said Hensley and the victim engaged in unlawful sexual relations in Dixon and often went to Davis to rent a hotel room.

Hensley is to appear Dec. 20 before Yolo Superior Court Judge David Rosenberg. At that time, the court will receive a report from the county Probation Department and a formal sentencing hearing will be set.
