Man sought in fatal West Sacramento hit-and-run in custody

Anthon.jpgMckee.jpgOne of the two people sought in connection with the RV hit-and-run death of a man outside a West Sacramento liquor store Tuesday night has turned himself in to police.

Joshua Neil Anthon (pictured), 31, of Rio Linda, will be booked into Yolo County Jail on suspicion of murder, according to a West Sacramento Police Department news release.

Police said Anthon turned himself in to detectives about 5 p.m. today.

A woman seen in surveillance photos has been identified as Pamela Nicole McKee (pictured), 33, of Sacramento. Police said she is still considered a person of interest and detectives want to speak with her.
Anyone with information regarding McKee's whereabouts is asked to call the West Sacramento Police Department at (916) 372-3375.

Michael Ray Anderson, 55, of West Sacramento died Tuesday night after he was struck by a motor home in front of the Low Cost Liquor store, 960 Sacramento Ave.

Officers were called to the store about 9:40 p.m. and found Anderson on the ground. Witnesses told police that the man had been hit by a motor home, which left at a high rate of speed afterward and was last seen eastbound on Sacramento Avenue.

Investigators determined that an argument occurred among the occupants of the RV, the victim and other parties.

Police thanked citizens for their assistance in the investigation. After photos of Anthon and McKee were disseminated via the media and social media Wednesday, the community submitted a significant number of tips, which led to their identification, police said.
