Juliet Riffey (pictured) left her Shingle Springs home during the night Friday. There is concern for her safety because she is home schooled and has limited contact with anyone outside the home, according to a Sheriff's Office news release. Officials said her mother reported that the teenager had not packed belongings or otherwise prepared to leave home.
Riffey is described as 5 feet 2 inches tall, weighing 110 pounds with dark blond/brown hair, blue eyes and wearing oval-framed glasses. She also has a cleft lip, which causes her to easily become ill, authorities said.
Anyone with information regrading Riffey's whereabouts is asked to call El Dorado County sheriff's Detective Natasha Gallagher at (530) 642-4720 or the sheriff's dispatch center at (530) 621-6600.
