A 53-year-old Roseville woman who was reported missing last week has been found dead in Rocklin Monday morning.

Cynthia Figuroa (pictured) was found in her car, which was parked near a business, according to Dee Dee Gunther, spokeswoman for Roseville police.

The Placer County Sheriff's Office's coroner's division will conduct an autopsy to determine cause of death. According to Rocklin police, there were no obvious signs of foul play. It was not known Monday who had found her or why she was in Rocklin.

Last week, Roseville police had asked for the public's help in locating Figueroa, who had apparently left her Highland Park home in north Roseville sometime in the afternoon of Sept. 18.

The family said it was unusual for her to not stay in contact with them, and noted that she had been extremely despondent recently.

Her vehicle, a silver 2005 Volvo S four-door sedan, with the California license plate 5LCE011, was also reported missing at the time of her disappearance.
