A man who robbed a Granite Bay pharmacy Friday night remains at large, authorities said.

A white male in his 20s entered the CVS store on Auburn Folsom Road shortly before 9 p.m. and demanded the pharmacist furnish him with "specific prescription medications," according to a Placer County Sheriff's Office news release.

The suspect was wearing a dark beanie hat, sunglasses, a heavy coat and dark baggy pants. The man handed a note to the pharmacist, stating that he had a gun, police said.

After taking some medications, the suspect fled on foot. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is urged to contact the Placer County Sheriff's Office at (530) 889-7800.
