Local competitor's shrimp recipe revealed

Where's the recipe?

A kind reader called this morning to tell me that missing in today's Food & Wine section was Joni Hilton's recipe for maple-glazed prosciutto wrapped shrimp (we wrote about Hilton earlier this week on this blog).

Doh!

Maple-Glazed Prosciutto Wrapped Shrimp
Prep time: 10 minutes
Cook time: 6 minutes
Serves: 4
This recipe was created by Joni Hilton, of Rocklin, for the Hungry Jack "Use Up the Box Recipe and Essay Contest."

Ingredients
1/4 cup Hungry Jack® Original Syrup
1 tablespoon teriyaki sauce
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
24 jumbo shrimp, peeled (about 1 1/2 pounds)
6 thin slices prosciutto

Instructions

Preheat broiler. In a large bowl, stir syrup, teriyaki sauce and cayenne pepper. Add shrimp and toss to coat. Cut each strip of prosciutto lengthwise into 4 strips and wrap each around a shrimp. Thread shrimp onto 4 skewers. Place skewers on lightly greased baking sheet and broil for 3 minutes per side. (Can also be grilled on a barbecue) .
