Meals for Health coming to Sacramento Food Bank

An opportunity to help low-income families get on track to healthier eating is coming to the Sacramento Food Bank & Family Services starting Friday. Meals for Health, sponsored by EarthSave International, is a free 30-day program to promote a low-fat, plant-strong diet for families in need. Candidates are being selected by the Sacramento Food Bank, who are identifying families with health problems and would benefit from nutritional education, shopping and exercise tips, and help with food preparation.
