Vendors announced for Sacto MoFo 4 mobile food festival

It's been a busy week of news on the local food truck scene, first with a city hall hearing on food trucks being cancelled in wake of AB 1678, and then MiniBurger announcing plans to expand to a brick-and-mortar business and also add a second truck to its fleet.

Now, we've got the exclusive heads-up on the list of vendors confirmed for Sacto MoFo 4, the mobile food festival which will be held April 21 at Eighth and W streets near Sacramento's Southside Park. It's set to be the biggest mobile food festival in Sacramento, with more than two dozen vendors and a possible beer garden. Check out the list and you'll find some familiar food truck favorites, and new ones as well:

Sacramento vendors

- Simply Southern (bbq, corn cake, jambalaya)
- Drewski's Hot Rod Kitchen (grilled sandwiches)
- MiniBurger (assortment of burger sliders)
- Leila's Lumpia (Chamorro-style lumpia)
- Chando's Tacos (a Mexican favorite for local foodies)
- Coast to Coast Sanwiches (po' boys, Philly cheesesteaks, reuben, etc.)
- Willie's Burgers (the 16th & Broadway burger spot goes mobile)
- Volkswaffle (Belgian treats)
- Heavenly Dog (Elk Grove hot dog shop now focused on its food truck)
- Fuzion Eatz (rosemary burgers, gyros)
- Emma's Tamales (includes vegan and vegetarian tamales)
- Little Rich's (staple of Old Sacramento specializing in sweets)
- Smoothie Patrol (organic smoothies)

New vendors

- Sanguchon (Peruvian street food from a Michelin-starred chef)
- Curbside Cuisine (Suisun City vendor with banh mi burger, loco moco and more)
- Street Eatz (Santa Rosa vendor of street foods from Japan, southeast Asia and Guatemala)
- Nom Nom Truck (as featured on TV's "The Great Food Truck Race")
- Treatbot Ice Cream (San Jose ice cream purveyor)
- Swabbie's (fish tacos and more, will also book live music at the event)
- Addy's Paella (Sacramento paella vendor can make 40 servings in one giant pan)
- Local Kine Shave Ice (Hawaiian shave ice)

Returning vendors

- Seoul on Wheels (Korean bbq)
- Whole Foods (sponsor of Sacto MoFo 4)
- An the Go (garlic noodles, lemongrass chicken skewers)
- Hapa SF (organic Filipino food)
- Curry Up Now (chicken tikka masala burritos and more)
- Chairman Bao (dim sum items)
- Bacon Bacon (bacon!)
