Q: Do you know which temporary staffing agency/agencies in the Roseville and Sacramento areas would have job assignments with Kaiser Permanente? Which job seeking website (ie: indeed.com, careerbuilder, or simplyhired.com) would be the best resource for clerical/office support job opportunities? Kate, Antelope, CA
A: To my knowledge, Kaiser Permanente does not use a temporary staffing agency for their hiring needs. I would suggest that you go directly to the Kaiser site to apply for jobs. Most job search sites such as Indeed.com and Simplyhired.com often post positions on their sites that are posted on company sites by providing a link to the company site to apply for the posted position. Companies will always go to their own site first to check for applicants that apply for open positions, so it is always best to apply direct on the organization's job search site.
I would suggest that you look at ihiresecretarial.com, which specializes in working with employers looking to fill clerical positions in the Sacramento area. You might also check out admincrossing.com and job.com; both sites specialize in administrative/clerical/office support jobs. Both Indeed.com and Simplyhired.com offer a substantial number of administrative and clerical jobs. In doing a quick search on both sites, Simplyhired listed 2,207 administrative job postings and 654 clerical job postings. Indeed.com listed 544 administrative job postings and 640 clerical job postings. Both of these sites will no doubt offer duplicate job postings but it is to your advantage to search both sites, post your résumé on both so that employers can find you when they do a search and most importantly, set up the email alert that is offered by both sites so you can be notified when new jobs are posted.
