Napa may not be the Napa of last fall when the Indians stormed to a 13-1 record and claimed the City Championship over Elk Grove in a thriller and the Division I section title over St. Mary's in another nail biter affair.

But coach Troy Mott has the Indians poised for a Monticello Empire League repeat after his bunch belted No. 12 Rocklin 40-23 to douse Rocklin's homecoming.

Charles Boyett, kid brother of 2007 Bee Player of the Year John Boyett , rushed for 99 yards, and Logan Hess had a 50-yard touchdown and 141yards rushing.

Keep in mind that Napa's only setback is to Merced, which is 4-1 and has beaten Del Oro and has lost only to 5-0 Edison of Stockton.
