Grant's Moala considered second best D-line prospect in country

Vei Moala, Grant High School's dominating figure on its dominating defense, is the second best defensive lineman senior prospect in the country, according to national recruiting guru Tom Lemming of MaxPreps.

Moala is a 6-foot-3, 330-pound tackle who is virtually unblockable, powerful, driven, agile.

The All-American - and The Bee's Defensive Player of the Year last season - is considering full offers from Alabama, USC, Cal, Florida and a hosts of others.

Said Lemming of Moala, "He's a big, broad kid who can really move his feet. He stuffs everything up the middle, is super strong. You have to have two, three, sometimes four giys on him.
"He's just one of those remarkable athletes you see every few years."

Moala is also as good a leader, character and teammate as you will ever find, any where, as humble as he is dominant.
