These area wrestlers have advanced to the first CIF girls state tournament Feb. 25-26 in Lemoore after placing among the top four at Saturday's Girls Invitational at NcNair High School in Stockton.
103 - Syria Rhodes, Valley, 1st; 108 - Gabrielle Eslinger, Lincoln, 1st; Jessica Marso, Bear River, 3rd; 118 - Teasia Lizama, Lindhurst, 3rd; 122 - Tianna Camous, Folsom, 1st; Ashley Taylor, Lindhurst, 2nd; 126 - Olivia Seppinni, Rocklin, 3rd; Ruby Santos, Christian Brothers, 4th.
132 - Mallory Velte, Christian Brothers, 3rd; 138 - Ashlie Johnson, Lindhurst, 4th.
154 - Haylee Kauanoe, Sheldon, 3rd; Serena Castro, River City, 4th; 189 - Jamaie Scott, West Campus, 1st; Lentaia Miles, Grant, 3rd; Estera Felton, Cordova, 4th.
Among the top area teams were Lindhurst, 3rd, 99 points; Christian Brothers, 9th, 49; Folsom, 12th, 43; Bear River, 16th, 39.50; West Campus 17th, 39; Lincoln, 18th, 36.50.
Jesse Bethel of Vallejo placed first with 259 points.
