Winning never gets stale and here are the Sierra College Wolverines bearing down on more hardware.

Under coach Steve Dunmore, the Wolverines women's tennis team Thursday will play for the program's second state championship since 2007. Sierra (15-0) takes on Santa Monica College (16-1) at 1 p.m. in the California Community College Athletic Association title match at the Sierra Sport and Racquet Club in Fresno.

Sierra is led by Big 8 All-Conference selections Courtnei Chance of De Campo, Kelsey Chrisco (Granite Bay), Ariana Paradis (Folsom) and Madison White (Del Oro).

Sierra placed second in the state in 2009 and won conference titles in 2008, 2010 and this season.
