Davis to visit national No. 1 Jesuit on Friday in boys soccer

In a rematch of last season's Sac-Joaquin Section Division I boys soccer championship match, Davis will play at Jesuit 3:30 p.m. Friday.

Last year, Jesuit defeated Davis 3-0 in the championship game to complete a 31-0-0 season.

This season Jesuit (11-0-0), which is playing Pleasant Grove this afternoon, is ranked No. 1 nationally by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America and ESPN Rise. The Marauders have won 67 consecutive matches.

Davis (6-1-3) played to a 0-0 tie at nationally ranked Granite Bay (7-1-2) on Wednesday.
