More Week 1 stars: Anderson leads Bella Vista to comeback win

Here are 20 more outstanding individual football performers from Week 1:

•Joe Anderson, Bella Vista: Rushed for 110 yards and a touchdown on 14 carries and returned a kickoff 91 yards for a touchdown in the Broncos' come-from-behind 35-32 win over Cordova.

•Kelly Bender, Foothill: Had four catches for 110 yards and a touchdown in the Mustangs' 44-42 win over Oakmont.

•Anthony Castaneda, Woodland Christian: Completed 12 of 18 passes for 192 yards and two touchdowns, rushed for a touchdown and had a fumble recovery in the Cardinals 28-27 come-from-behind win over San Juan.

•Reggie Evans, Mira Loma: Had five sacks and 11 tackles in the Matadors' 28-10 win over Mesa Verde.

•Johnny Foley, Placer: Had two sacks, recovered two fumbles and had six tackles in the Hillmen's 70-8 win over Brookside Christian of Stockton.

•Bobby Gatta, Oak Ridge: Picked off two passes, including one in his own end zone, to help the Trojans defeat Rocklin 21-7.

•John Hancock, Mira Loma: Rushed for 242 yards on 23 carries in the Matadors' 28-10 win over Mesa Verde.

•Bobby Heatherington, Del Oro: Completed 11 of 18 passes for 213 yards and two touchdowns in the Golden Eagles' 30-27 overtime loss to Westlake in the Battle at the Capital at Del Oro.

•Jake Hofheinz, Nevada Union: Had six catches for 117 yards and two touchdowns in the Miners' 47-0 win over Ponderosa.

•Dalen Jones, Woodland: Completed 13 of 17 passes for 163 yards, rushed for two touchdowns and returned an interception 52 yards for a score in the Wolves' 46-6 win over McClatchy.

•Cameron Kimble, Rosemont: Had eight catches for 202 yards and two touchdowns in the Wolverines' 39-21 loss to Franklin of Stockton.

•Reymond Norton, Burbank: Ran for a 50-yard touchdown, threw a 26-yard scoring strike to Desean Ellingsberg and two-point conversion pass to Jashawn Collier in the Titans' 20-13 win over Napa.

•Basil Okoroike, Rio Americano: Rushed for 157 yards and two touchdowns on nine carries and had 72 yards of kickoff return yardage in the Raiders' 52-38 loss to Jesuit.

•Blake Owensby, Franklin: Completed 11 of 20 passes for 192 yards and a touchdown and rushed for 65 yards on 12 carries in the Wildcats' 42-26 win over Bishop O'Dowd of Oakland in the Smackdown in Sactown at Grant.

•Winfred Roberson, Davis: Sophomore scored three touchdowns and rushed for 256 yards, fifth highest in school history, to lead the Blue Devils past Armijo 27-3.

•Mitch Samson, Casa Roble: Completed 14 of 26 passes for 169 yards and two touchdowns and also rushed for three touchdowns in the Rams' 70-56 loss to Woodcreek.

•Logan Smith, Vista del Lago: Caught 10 passes for 159 yards and a touchdown in the Eagles' 56-35 win over Antelope.

•Tanner Trosin, Folsom: Completed 14 of 26 passes for 293 yards and four touchdowns and rushed for 89 yards and two touchdowns on 19 carries in the Bulldogs' 41-29 win over San Ramon Valley in the Battle of the Bay at Diablo Valley College in Pleasant Hill.

•Sean Tow, Union Mine: Rushed for 219 yards and a touchdown on 32 carries in the Diamondbacks' 18-10 win over El Camino.

•Tanner Vallejo, Nevada Union: Had an interception and 14 tackles in the Miners' 47-0 win over Ponderosa.
