Here are 20 top performers from Week 2 playoff football

Here are 20 top area performances from the second week of the Sac-Joaquin Section football playoffs.

• Wes Archbold, Foresthill: Rushed for three second-half touchdowns as the Wildfires rallied from a 21-20 halftime deficit to beat Vacaville Christian 43-30.

• Arik Bird, Granite Bay: Rushed for 179 yards and two touchdowns on 33 carries in the Grizzlies' 21-12 win over Oak Ridge.

• Dylan Collie, Oak Ridge: Caught nine passes for 149 yards and two touchdowns in the Trojans' 21-12 loss to Granite Bay.

• Blake Covey, Del Oro: Had two interceptions and returned a fumble 93 yards for a touchdown in the Golden Eagles' 41-12 win over Placer.

• Robert Frazier: Elk Grove: Rushed for 158 yards and three touchdowns on 18 carries and had two interceptions in the Thundering Herd's 55-6 win over Beyer of Modesto.

• Mark Jenkins, Pleasant Grove: Rushed for 109 yards and three touchdowns on 17 carries and also returned a kickoff 61 yards in the Eagles' 45-0 win over Pitman of Turlock.

• Kody Jones, Casa Roble: Rushed for 141 yards and two touchdowns in the Rams' 34-24 win over Los Banos.

• Joey Mangino, Placer: Rushed for 213 yards on 19 carries in the Hillmen's 41-12 loss to Del Oro.

• Brandon Monroe, Del Oro: Rushed for 122 yards and two touchdowns on 18 carries and forced a fumble in the Golden Eagles' 42-12 win over Placer.

• J'Juan Muldrow, Folsom: Caught five passes for 113 yards and a touchdown; rushed for 32 yards and a touchdown; threw a 36-yard touchdown pass and had an interception in the Bulldogs' 45-14 win over Inderkum.

• Deon Ransom: Elk Grove: Rushed for 177 yards and two touchdowns in the Thundering Herd's 55-6 win over Beyer of Modesto.

• Jake Rodrigues: Completed 7 of 16 passes for 102 yards and two touchdowns and rushed for 52 yards on 11 carries in Whitney's 35-0 win over Cosumnes Oaks.

• Mitch Samson, Casa Roble: Completed 16 of 23 passes for 217 yards and two touchdowns and rushed for a touchdown in the Rams' 34-24 win over Los Banos.

• Logan Smith, Vista del Lago: State receiving leader caught 15 passes for 110 yards in the Eagles' 49-7 loss to Oakdale.

• Kurtis Stamm, Highlands: Threw three touchdowns and ran for two more in the Scots' 56-6 win over Millennium of Tracy.

• Shaq Thompson, Grant: Completed seven of 13 passes for 182 yards and rushed for 50 yards on 14 carries in the Pacers' 26-21 loss to Bethel.

• Tanner Trosin, Folsom: Completed 17 of 23 passes for 306 yards and three touchdowns and rushed for a touchdown in the Bulldogs' 45-14 win over Inderkum.

• L.J. Upshire, Bradshaw Christian: Rushed for 406 yards and seven touchdowns on 25 carries in the Pride's 61-40 win over Ripon. He becomes just the sixth area back to rush for more than 400 yards in a game.

• John Wiernicki, Liberty Ranch: Rushed for 203 yards and three touchdowns in the Hawks' 33-32 upset of Colfax. Wiernicki is No. 2 in the state and leads the section in rushing with 2,435 yards.

• Austin Young, Colfax: Completed 16 of 29 passes for 326 yards and three touchdowns in the Falcons' 33-32 loss to Liberty Ranch.
