Bee boys Top 20: Franklin, Antelope to meet in Fairfield finale

It will be an all-Sacramento final Friday night at the Fairfield Holiday Classic after No. 6 Franklin and No. 7 Antelope won semifinal games tonight.

Kelton Newman had 25 points to lead Franklin past Bethel of Vallejo 71-65. Gabe Bealer scored 19 points and Isaiah Ellis and Kei'Shaun Sinclair added 16 points each as Antelope beat host Fairfield 71-57.

Antelope is 12-1, the only loss coming to Franklin Dec. 2 in the Bella Vista Bronco Round-Up.

Here are the results of other games today involving Bee Top 20 boys teams:

• Top-ranked Jesuit defeated host St. Ignatius 68-49 in the championship game of the Leo La Rocca Sand Dune Classic in San Francisco.

• No. 2 Sheldon, led by Armani Hampton's 18 points, defeated St. Thomas Catholic of Houston, Texas 56-48 in the ESPN Holiday Classic in Torrey Pines. Sheldon will play Lake Washington of Kirkland, Wash. for the National Division consolation championship 1:55 p.m. Friday at La Costa Canyon High School.

• Darius Graham had 19 points, James Hadnot 13 and Erik Kinney 11 as No. 3 Sacramento defeated Eisenhower of Rialto 66-60 in the Holiday Hardwood tournament at Oaks Christian High School in Westlake Village.

• Malik Thames had 19 points, Arik Armstead 18, Cody Demps 17 and Colfax Nordquist 16 as No. 4 Pleasant Grove defeated Rancho Cucamonga 79-71 in the semifinals of their division at the MaxPreps Holiday Classic in Palm Springs.

• Despite 19 points by Mitchell Love, No. 5 Burbank fell to El Camino Real of Woodland Hills 61-45 in the Modesto Christian Holiday Classic.

• KJ Logue scored 17 points to lead No. 9 Bella Vista past El Dorado 52-46 in the Trojan Toss-Up semifinals at Oak Ridge. Bella Vista will play No. 14 Oak Ridge for the title 8 p.m. Friday. Oak Ridge defeated Rio Americano 61-46 behind Bryce Scott's 25 points.

• No. 11 Del Oro lost 53-50 to California of San Ramon at the Whitney Winter Classic. Jordan Broyles had 10 points for Del Oro.

• Trey Novak had 20 points to lead No. 12 Del Campo past Nevada Union 57-40 in the 70th Kendall Arnett tournament at Placer High School. Del Campo will play Woodcreek in Friday's championship game. Woodcreek beat Placer 62-47 tonight.

• Kenneth Parker had 22 points and Christopher Smith 17 as No. 13 Center defeated No. 16 Whitney 60-42 in the Whitney Winter Classic.

• Blake Williams had 17 points as No. 15 Kennedy defeated Vanden 59-53 at the Fairfield tournament.

• LJ Reed led four players in double figures with 19 points as No. 17 Cosumnes Oaks defeated Highlands 75-60 in the Lindhurst tournament.
