Boys Top 20: No. 14 Del Oro takes two-game lead in SFL

No. 14 Del Oro solidified its hold on first place in Sierra Foothill League boys basketball tonight by beating visiting and No. 19 Granite Bay 61-38.

With No. 18 Roseville falling 47-46 to Woodcreek, Del Oro (5-0) now holds a two-game lead in league over Granite Bay (3-2) and Roseville (3-2).

In other boys games involving Bee Top 20 teams:

• James Hadnot led four Sacramento High players in double figures with 21 points as the Dragons defeated Florin 90-51 in a Metro Conference game.

• Kei'Shaun Sinclair had 19 points in No. 5 Antelope's 62-48 Capital Athletic League win over Rio Americano. Antelope has the area's best overall record at 20-1 and is 4-0 in league.

• Sophomore Malik Pope had 24 points in leading No. 8 Burbank to a 76-39 Metro win over Hiram Johnson.

• Blake Williams and Jaylin McQuillon each scored 11 points in leading No. 11 Kennedy to a 67-31 Metro win over host Rosemont.

• Nick Modar had 16 points and Jackson Yniquez 11 as McClatchy defeated No. 17 Valley 48-47.
