Bryson scores 34 in No. 8 Foothill boys win over Del Campo; Sacramento, Kennedy girls open Metro Conference with wins

UC Santa Barbara-bound Michael Bryson scored 34 points, Kelly Bender added 19 and No. 8 Foothill outscored No. 11 Del Campo 33-6 in the first half en route to a 58-45 nonleague win tonight in Fair Oaks.

Foothill climbs to 10-3; Del Campo falls to 12-3.

#&149; Justin Woody had 23 points to lead Folsom to a 64-53 upset of No. 10 Granite Bay in a nonleague game.

#&149; Austin Saldano had 19 points and Jordan Broyles 15 points as No. 13 Del Oro defeated Lincoln 55-44 in a nonleague game in Loomis.

#&149; Londeen McCovery had 15 points to lead No. 15 Cosumnes Oaks past River City 64-37 in a nonleague game.

#&149; Matt Howard had 19 points and Bryce Scott 17 as No. 16 Oak Ridge beat host Yuba City 66-56 in a nonleague game.

#&149; Brianna Womack had 15 points and Jasmine Ware 13 points as top-ranked Sacramento outscored No. 4 Florin 20-0 in the first quarter en route to a 65-31 Metro Conference opening win over the Panthers.

#&149; Lynette Johnson had 21 points as No. 6 Kennedy defeated Rosemont 71-38 in the Metro Conference opener.

#&149; MacKenzie Conarro had 15 points and Nicole Crane 11 as No. 10 St. Francis beat visiting Clovis West 54-45 in a nonleague game.
