American River College football remained steady in the California Community College Football Coach's Association poll as compiled by Fred Baer of the JC Athletic Bureau.
ARC is state-ranked No. 4 and NorCal ranked third. The Beaves, winners of 21 consecutive games, are coming off a 45-24 victory over then No. 14-NorCal ranked Chabot in Hayward.
Devontae Booker rushed for 171 yards and two touchdowns, Jonathan Kodama had two touchdowns and Tyler Trosin returned a punt 81 yards for a score for the Beavers.
ARC plays host to NorCal No. 10 Santa Rosa on Saturday at 1 p.m. and then will entertain state and national No. 1 City College of San Francisco on Sept. 28 in the biggest game in the program's regular-season history.
Sacramento City College, fresh off a 37-32 win over previous NorCal No. 8 Santa Rosa, is No. 14 in NorCal poll. Lanier Logan rushed for 188 yards and caught passes for 108 more for the Panthers, who host Reedley College on Saturday night at Huighes Stadium at 6 p.m.
