Quarterback Thomas Sperbeck's touchdown run around right end with 14 seconds left lifted Jesuit to a 33-26 win over host El Camino Friday night in a nonleague football game.
Sperbeck rushed for two touchdowns and passed for two scores, including one of 69 yards.
Matt Ternan, Austin Gates and Devin Kelly led the Jesuit defense. Ternan and Gates had eight tackles each and Kelly five tackles and a batted down pass.
He also rushed for a touchdown as the Marauders climbed to 2-0 under new coach Marlon Blanton before theiannual Holy Bowl against Christian Brothers next Saturday at Hughes Stadium.
El Camino drops to 2-1.
