Colfax gets scare before beating Foothill 49-34 in PVL game

Colfax got a scare tonight against Foothill in their Pioneer Valley League football matchup in Foothill Farms.

Colfax held a 35-14 lead early in the fourth quarter before the Mustangs stormed back for three touchdowns to close within one point with about six minutes to play.

Colfax (4-4, 1-2) then scored touchdowns on a 28-yard pass from Michael Wilson to Kyle Bryant and a six-yard run by Tim Rawlins to pull away for a 49-34 win.

Wilson had three touchdown passes, including two to Chas Reisinger, while Rawlins rushed for three touchdowns for the defending league champions.

David Carter had three touchdown passes and Robert Dotson rushed for two touchdowns for Foothill (1-7, 0-3).
