More Week 5 stars: Sophomore helps Dixon edge Mira Loma

Here are 10 more notable Week 5 football performances:

• Fredrick Douglas, Dixon: Sophomore blocked a potential game-winning field goal, had a sack, nine tackles and rushed for a touchdown in the Rams' 22-20 win over Mira Loma.

• Deon Guther, Florin: Caught seven passes for 159 yards and two touchdowns in the Panthers' 47-20 win over Hiram Johnson.

• Caspian Hamric, Oakmont: Rushed for 145 yards and two touchdowns on 19 carries in the Vikings' 44-43 win over Lincoln.

• James Hubbard, Lincoln: Rushed for 319 yards and three touchdowns on 25 carries in the Fighting Zebras' 44-43 loss to Oakmont.

• Zach Labar, Del Oro: Completed 10 of 12 passes for 147 yards and two touchdowns in the Golden Eagles' 20-13 win over James Logan of Union City.

• Mitchell Layton, Woodcreek: Rushed for 133 yards and a touchdown on 17 carries in the Timberwolves' 54-14 loss to Placer.

• Jordan Noall, River Valley: Caught three touchdown passes in the Falcons' 64-0 win over Lindhurst.

• Preston Perry, Colfax: Had two sacks in the Falcons' 35-0 win over Mesa Verde.

• Josh Truesdell, Woodland Christian: Passed for 70 yards and a touchdown; returned an interception 26 yards for a touchdown and had a sack and four tackles in the Cardinals' 48-0 win over Valley Christian.

• Ben Walls, Florin: Completed 11 of 21 passes for 251 yards and four touchdowns and rushed for 43 yards and two touchdowns on nine carries in the Panthers' 47-20 win over Hiram Johnson.
